APC Accuses Zamfara Govt of Abducting Tinubu Coordinator, Denies Allegations

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Zamfara State government, led by Governor Dauda Lawal, of abducting and detaining Bashir Isa Gusau, the Tinubu/Shettima Coordinator. The APC support group coordinator in the North-West, Dr.

Ado Usman Charanc, alleged that around 30 armed men suspected to be security operatives stormed Gusau's residence and abducted Bashir in front of his wife. Despite efforts to trace his whereabouts, he remains missing.

The APC called for security agencies to investigate the matter. In response, the Senior Special Assistant on Electronic Media to Governor Lawal, Mustapha Ja'afaru Kaura, dismissed the allegations as baseless and malicious, emphasizing the government's focus on governance and security.

The incident has raised concerns about political intimidation and security in Zamfara State.
