APC and Atiku Abubakar Clash Over Economic Policies

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to criticisms from Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, regarding President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies. The APC described Atiku as a rejected politician making unrealistic political statements to gain public favor.

In contrast, the APC defended Tinubu’s administration, asserting that its economic reforms would benefit Nigerians and that citizens would not abandon proven policies for untested proposals. Atiku, through his Media Aide Paul Ibe, stated he is reviewing his policy blueprint to tackle issues like poverty and insecurity, emphasizing that the upcoming election would serve as a referendum on the Tinubu government's failures.

Bala Ibrahim, the APC Director of Publicity, criticized Atiku's sincerity and claimed that Nigerians are intelligent enough to discern between effective governance and empty political promises.
