Yari Confident in Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

Abdul’Aziz Yari, serving as the director-general of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, expressed strong confidence in the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027. Speaking at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Yari stated, “Today, we have seen him as president today, and by God’s grace, he shall be the president come 2027.” The APC recently announced the formation of its presidential campaign council, with Tinubu as chairman and Yari in his current role.

Other key officials include Vice-President Nentawe Yilwatda and Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State, who serves as secretary. Yari addressed criticisms regarding the council's composition, particularly concerning members with unresolved allegations, asserting that the council would successfully deliver Tinubu’s re-election bid.

He reassured Nigerians of the APC's commitment to fulfilling promises made during the 2023 campaign and prayed for divine wisdom for Tinubu's leadership, expressing hope that the APC would continue to lead the country beyond Tinubu’s potential second term.
