APC Candidate Adewoye Pays ₦4.8m for Medical Bills

Prince Olalekan Adewoye, the Kwara South senatorial district candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, paid ₦3.8 million in medical bills for two indigent patients at the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (formerly General Hospital, Ilorin). His intervention allowed for the immediate discharge and continued care of these patients, who were unable to settle their treatment bills.

Additionally, Adewoye provided ₦1 million to assist other patients with feeding and immediate welfare needs. During his visit on Saturday, he emphasized that true leadership is measured by the positive impact on the lives of the less privileged, particularly in healthcare.

He prayed for the patients' healing and recovery, which transformed the atmosphere in the ward, eliciting gratitude from patients, families, and hospital staff. Medical personnel commended Adewoye's humanitarian contribution, highlighting its significance in supporting indigent patients and encouraging similar acts of kindness.
