Nigerian Politicians' Children Graduate from UK Universities

In 2026, children of prominent Nigerian political figures celebrated significant academic milestones after graduating from universities in the United Kingdom. Joaquin Wike, son of Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Management and Technology Change from King’s College London in January 2026.

His achievement was announced by Lere Olayinka, the FCT Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media. The graduation ceremony was attended by family members and political associates.

Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, daughter of former APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, also graduated from King’s College London in January 2026, with her father announcing her achievement on social media. Additionally, Ariwera Jonathan, son of former President Goodluck Jonathan, graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2026, with his parents expressing pride in his accomplishment.
