APC Declares Kingsley Chinda Rivers State Governorship Candidate

Kingsley Chinda has been declared the governorship candidate for Rivers State by the All Progressives Congress (APC) following the party's primary election, where he emerged unopposed with a total of 268,497 votes. The announcement was made by Bitru Kwamoti, who confirmed that the voting process reflected true and accurate records across the state.

Kwamoti expressed satisfaction with the orderly conduct of the election, which adhered to APC's constitutional guidelines. Felix Obuah, an APC chieftain in Rivers, praised Chinda as a formidable candidate for the upcoming governorship election, emphasizing the need for unity among the people of Rivers State regardless of ethnic backgrounds.

The primary election saw the withdrawal of other candidates, including Siminalayi Fubara, Tony Cole, and George Kelly, which paved the way for Chinda's unopposed candidacy.
