APC Dismisses Governor's Claim of Pressure to Join Party in Plateau State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State has dismissed Governor Caleb Mutfwang's claims of pressure to defect from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC. Mutfwang alleged that some APC members were urging him to join the party, but the APC refuted these claims, stating that the majority of their members are content and not seeking defection.

Saleh Zazzaga, leader of the North Central APC Forum, publicly encouraged Mutfwang to defect last year. The APC maintains that the Governor's performance is satisfactory and that there is no need for him to defect.
