APC Dismisses Governor's Claim of Pressure to Join Party in Plateau State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State has refuted Governor Caleb Mutfwang's claim of being pressured to defect from the People's Democratic Party (PDP). The APC's Publicity Secretary, Shittu Bamaiyi, accused Mutfwang of living in self-denial and insisted that there was no genuine interest from the governor to join the party.

Mutfwang had earlier revealed that APC members approached him to leave PDP, alleging that some APC members in the state secretly desired his defection. The governor claimed that a significant percentage of APC members in Plateau State were glad he did not join the party.
