APC Govt Approached Me, But I Didn’t Say Yes Or No – ADC Coalition Leader, Umar Ardo Reveals

Umar Ardo, the leader of the ADC Coalition, revealed in an interview with Daily Trust that the APC government approached him, but he did not give a definitive answer. Ardo mentioned that a minister called him and promised to arrange a meeting with President Bola Tinubu, but he refused to accept or decline the offer of joining the government.

Other coalition leaders, including Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Mohamed Sani Sidi, have also reportedly been approached by the APC government. Shekarau and Sidi, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, have declined the offers and are still playing crucial roles in the opposition party.

Despite the efforts of the ruling party to court these opposition figures, their attempts have been unsuccessful so far.
