Coalition Against Tinubu: List of Former Governors Who Denied Links with ADC

A coalition of opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has formed ahead of the 2027 general election, with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as their political platform. Prominent figures in the coalition include Peter Obi and Nasir Rotimi Amaechi.

Despite reports suggesting that several former governors had joined the coalition, many of them, such as Fayemi and Ambode, have denied any association with the ADC. Former governor Amaechi also distanced himself from claims that he spearheaded the coalition.

Additionally, former Lagos state governor clarified that he supports President Tinubu's 2027 bid and is not linked to the ADC. Former Minister Transportation Rotimi Amaechi's mission to remove President Tinubu was also commented on by Nyesom Wike, who expressed confidence that Nigerians would reject Amaechi in the next general election.
