APC Holds Reception for Atiku's Son After Defection in Adamawa State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State organized a reception for Abba Abubakar, the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, following his defection from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC. The reception, held at the APC state secretariat in Yola, was attended by prominent figures including APC Chairman Barrister Shuaibu Idri.

Abba's defection is seen as a significant move amidst ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections. The event highlighted the growing acceptance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu within the opposition circles, with Abba being praised for his bold and patriotic choice.

Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, speaking on behalf of the party, commended Abba's foresight and independence in joining the APC. Abba expressed his commitment to work towards the success of the APC and pledged his support for Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.
