APC Names Emmanuel Ombugadu as Deputy for 2027 Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has appointed Emmanuel Ombugadu as the deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 election, supporting Senator Ahmed Wadada. This decision was announced by Governor Abdullahi Sule during a stakeholders' meeting held at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Monday.

Governor Sule indicated that the decision followed consultations with other aspirants who agreed to support the chosen candidate. He emphasized the importance of party unity ahead of the elections.

Senator Wadada expressed his satisfaction with the decision, highlighting its alignment with party leadership and zoning considerations. He urged other aspirants, particularly Dr Kigbu, to accept the outcome and work together for the party's success.

Ombugadu thanked the Governor and stakeholders for their trust, acknowledging the difficulty of the decision but stressing its necessity for party unity. He expressed confidence in the commitment of other aspirants despite potential disappointment.
