Tinubu Wins APC Primary in Kabo Ward, Kano State

In the APC presidential primary conducted on Saturday, Bola Ahmed Tinubu achieved a significant victory in Kabo Ward, Kabo Local Government Area, Kano State, where he garnered 1,004 votes from 1,007 eligible voters. His only challenger received no votes, and three eligible voters were absent.

Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President, expressed that Tinubu's victory was not only impressive but also a clear statement of unity among party members. The turnout was described as massive and peaceful, with local party chairman and supporters visibly backing Tinubu, as evidenced by the display of his campaign posters.

Jibrin reaffirmed the belief in Tinubu's leadership, indicating that the APC is prepared for the upcoming elections, with the presidential election date set for January 16, 2027, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
