Tinubu Receives APC Nomination Certificate for 2027

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu formally received the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination certificate for the 2027 elections. The presentation took place in Abuja, attended by senior party leaders, including Vice President Kashim Shettima and various governors.

Tinubu clinched the APC presidential ticket by securing 10,999,162 votes in the nationwide direct primaries, defeating his only challenger, Stanlei Osifo. The primaries were supervised by Anyim Pius Anyim, who disclosed that the party had 12,643,306 registered members, with 11,069,756 voters accredited during the electoral process.

The results were officially announced at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, marking a significant step in the APC's preparations for the upcoming general elections.
