APC Unveils Timetable for 2027 Elections Congresses and Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a comprehensive timetable for congresses and a national convention in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The process, which includes elections at ward, local government, state, and zonal levels, will lead to a national convention by the end of March.

The party's ongoing digital membership registration exercise, which began in December 2025 and ends in January 2026, aims to enhance membership records and grassroots mobilization. The Progress Governor Forum, comprising governors from various states, met in Abuja to discuss the party's internal processes and reaffirm their commitment to strengthening democratic practices within the APC.

Key governors present at the meeting included Hope Uzodimma, Caleb Mutfwang, Uba Sani, and others. The forum emphasized the importance of transparency, financial management, and unity within the party, while also outlining plans for strategic engagements and state visits to reinforce grassroots structures and party cohesion.
