APC Unveils 73-Member Committee for National Convention in 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a 73-member National Convention Committee for its convention set for March 27-28, 2026. The committee, chaired by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and with Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni as the secretary, will oversee the selection of new party members and set the leadership agenda.

Notable members include APC interim National Chairman Bisi Akande, former party chairmen like Adam Oshiomhole, Abdullahi Adamu, and Abdullahi Ganduje, as well as other prominent figures like Godswill Akpabio, Ahmad Lawan, and Femi Gbajabiamila. The committee aims to intensify preparations for the convention, reflecting the party's national leadership structure.

The announcement signals the party's commitment to internal democracy and the selection of a new executive.
