APC Declared Preferred Party in Jigawa by Governor Namadi

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains the party of choice for the people of Jigawa. This statement followed the defection of 4,000 members from various political parties during a grand reception for new members at the APC secretariat in Taura Local Government Area.

The defection was led by former state party chairman and four-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Safiyanu Ubal Taura, who emphasized the growing popularity of the APC across the state.

Governor Namadi highlighted that the influx of new members indicates a strengthening of the party's grassroots structure. He assured the defectors of equal treatment and fair inclusion in leadership roles, promising to uphold trust and integrity.

The APC state chairman, Hon. Ahm Garba M K, noted the unprecedented wave of defections attributed to the governor's leadership style and ongoing development projects.
