APC Sets Inauguration Date for Ekiti Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the inauguration date for its National Campaign Council for the upcoming Ekiti State governorship election, set for June 10, 2026. The event will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

The council will be chaired by Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, while Godswill Obot Akpabio will serve as co-chairman. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele will act as the secretary of the council.

The council will include former governors and principal officers of the National Assembly, ensuring effective planning for the campaign. Various subcommittees will be established to manage different aspects of the campaign, including financial resource mobilization, grassroots engagement, logistics, media, public security, women's mobilization, and youth mobilization.

The inauguration will mark the beginning of mobilization efforts across Ekiti State in preparation for a successful outcome in the forthcoming governorship election.
