APC Postpones Taraba Governor's Defection to January 2026 Amid Internal Disputes

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has rescheduled Governor Kefa's defection to January 2026, citing internal disputes. The state chairman, Barrister Ibrahim El Sudi, confirmed the delay, originally planned for November.

The decision follows the suspension of ward executives for violating the party's constitution. Governor Kefa's defection was postponed earlier due to the kidnapping of students in Kebbi State.

The party urges aggrieved members to seek internal dispute resolution mechanisms before resorting to legal action.
