APC in Borno State Slashes Nomination Fees for Women and Physically Challenged Aspirants

The APC in Borno State has announced a 50% reduction in nomination form fees for women and physically challenged aspirants in preparation for the upcoming local government elections on December 13. The decision aims to promote inclusivity and equal participation in the electoral process.

The standard fees for councillorship aspirants remain at ₦500,000 and ₦2 million for chairmanship aspirants, while women and physically challenged individuals will pay ₦250,000 and ₦1 million, respectively. The APC chairman, Ayuba, emphasized the party's commitment to inclusive politics and ensuring a fair chance for all aspirants.

The party will soon commence the screening process for aspirants vying for 27 local government chairmanship seats and 320 ward councillorship positions.
