APC Endorses Hamza Sule Faskari as Consensus Candidate

On Saturday, during a stakeholder rally in Kankara, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State endorsed Hamza Sule Faskari as their consensus candidate for the House of Representatives seat ahead of the 2027 general elections. The endorsement reflects the popular will of stakeholders across the 31 wards in the three local government areas of the constituency.

The consensus committee, led by former Deputy Governor Tukur Ahmad Jikamshi, was commended for its thorough process. Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal Jobe urged aspirants not selected to accept the committee's decision in good faith and work towards the party's victory in the upcoming elections.

Hamza Sule Faskari, a two-time former environment commissioner and a businessman, called for unity among party members and emphasized the importance of voter registration and security measures to combat banditry and kidnapping in the area.
