APC Sweeps Local Government Elections in Niger State, PDP Secures Three Seats

The All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious in the local government elections in Niger State, securing 25 chairmanship seats according to the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC). The People's Democratic Party (PDP) managed to win only three seats out of the 25.

The elections, held across 25 local governments, featured candidates from 10 political parties. The NSIEC Chairman, Moham Liman, confirmed the results and announced the formal conclusion of the electoral process.

Despite reports of low voter turnout, the APC dominated the polls in Niger State.
