APC Sweeps All 25 Local Government Seats in Niger State Council Polls

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in all 25 local government seats in Niger State council polls, as announced by the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC). The APC secured 271 out of 274 councillorship seats, solidifying its dominance in the state's political landscape.

Jibrin and Usman Manko Mohammad are among the newly elected chairmen. The People's Democratic Party (PDP) managed to win only two councillorship seats in Tafa Rafi local government area.

NSIEC praised the peaceful conduct of the exercise and assured due process in the final report submission.
