APC Releases Timetable for 2027 General Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its timetable for the 2027 General Elections, as outlined by Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu. The sale of express interest forms will commence on April 25, 2026, and close on May 4, 2026.

The presidential primaries are scheduled for May 15-16, 2026, followed by the House of Representatives primaries on May 18, the Senate on May 20, the State House of Assembly on May 21, and the governorship primaries on May 23. Appeals for various primaries will occur shortly after, with presidential appeals set for May 18, House of Representatives on May 20, Senate on May 21, State Assembly on May 23, and governorship on May 25.

The APC has fixed the cost of express interest forms at N30 million for presidential aspirants and N70 million for nomination forms. Discounts of 50% on nomination forms will be available for female aspirants, youth, and persons with disabilities.
