Ndume Agrees with Shettima on APC's Internal Divisions

Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South Senatorial District, expressed agreement with Vice-President Kashim Shettima's assertion that internal divisions within the All Progressives Congress (APC) present a more significant threat than opposition parties. During an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’, Ndume highlighted that while opposition parties are vocal, the focus on personalities over ideas is concerning.

He stated, “We have more problems within than without,” emphasizing that the political class often takes Nigerians for granted. Ndume's comments followed Shettima's remarks during the unveiling of the Arewa campaign office for Asiwaju in Abuja, where he stated that unity within the APC is crucial for electoral success.

Shettima cautioned northern political leaders against undermining APC governorship candidates while supporting Tinubu's re-election, urging party members to rally around APC governors, lawmakers, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the upcoming elections.
