Akpabio Confident of Oyebanji's Victory in Ekiti Poll

Godswill Akpabio, the Co-Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for the Ekiti governorship poll, expressed confidence that Biodun Oyebanji will secure a second term in the upcoming election scheduled for Saturday. Akpabio made these remarks during a campaign rally held on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti.

He was accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima and other APC leaders. Akpabio assured the people of Ekiti State that the APC would continue to support Governor Oyebanji until victory is achieved on June 20, 2026.

He urged voters to participate actively in the election and not to allow anyone to disrupt the peace. Akpabio praised Oyebanji's performance and highlighted the importance of supporting women in politics, suggesting that a woman should be chosen as deputy governor.

He reiterated that Oyebanji's administration has fulfilled its promises and is committed to serving the people of Ekiti State.
