APM Re-elects Bunmi Adeyemo and 16 Executives in Lagos

The All Progressives Movement (APM) re-elected Mr. Bunmi Adeyemo as chairman along with 16 other members of the Lagos State executive committee during a state congress held in Yaba.

The congress, which attracted several leaders from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), emphasized unity and consensus among party members. Mr.

Godwin Williamson, chairman of the congress committee, commended the peaceful conduct of the delegates and highlighted the importance of the newly elected executives in promoting the party's values and programs leading up to the 2027 general elections. The newly elected executives include Mr.

Gabriel Iwatamay as deputy chairman, Mr. Abiodun Abari as secretary, and other key positions filled by various members.

Adeyemo expressed confidence in the party's growth and commitment to delivering leadership that addresses the needs of the people. The congress also noted the necessity of a coalition with PDP members to strengthen opposition politics in Lagos State.
