APM Critiques Tinubu's Leadership and Governance Approach

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has publicly criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that he lacks the necessary capacity to lead Nigeria effectively. The party claims that he has abdicated his responsibilities to a cabal of family members and aides, which has taken control of the administration.

APM's National Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Abubukar, stated that President Tinubu's administration is lethargic and disconnected from the populace, particularly in addressing security and economic issues. They noted his absence from significant global meetings, such as the United Nations General Assembly, and criticized his lack of direct engagement with communities affected by terrorism and crime.

The APM also condemned the administration's harsh economic policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies and increased taxes, which have led to a high unemployment rate of 33.3% and a poverty rate of 63%, affecting over 140 million Nigerians.
