APM's Ajadi Encourages UI Students to Engage in Politics

On September 22, 2026, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District, addressed students at the University of Ibadan during the Honourable Odidiomo Students’ Legislative Summit. He urged them to actively participate in politics, stating that such involvement is crucial for influencing governance and driving development in Nigeria.

Ajadi emphasized that political participation allows citizens to engage with the government, influence policies, and contribute to democratic dividends. He encouraged students to view involvement in political parties not just as a means to seek elective office but as a way to understand governance and prepare for leadership roles.

He called on students to see themselves as stakeholders in Nigeria's political future. Additionally, Hon. Dhikrullah Olajide Stanley Adedeji Odidiomo spoke at the summit, urging students to acquire skills in emerging technologies to enhance their education and future employment opportunities.
