Apple Music Names Esoterica as Nigeria's Up Next Artist

Apple Music has announced Esoterica as the latest Up Next Artist in Nigeria, spotlighting her as a rising star in the music industry. Esoterica, a Lagos-based alt-pop musician, is recognized for her experimental genre-fluid sound that blends folk, soul, hip-hop, rock, pop, and Afro house.

She relocated to Lagos from London in 2020 and has been gaining recognition for her deeply personal songwriting, which explores themes of faith, identity, emotional growth, and self-discovery. Alongside her music career, Esoterica co-founded the Indi Music Collect Space, a platform dedicated to amplifying African women's voices and supporting alternative artists.

She is set to release a six-track EP that reflects her emotional and expansive approach to artistry. Esoterica's journey began in London in 2019, and she has continued to build her presence in Nigeria's alternative music scene, contributing to various projects, including tracks on Peruzzi's album and her latest single released last month.
