FG Launches ₦50m Venture Grant for Nigerian Student Entrepreneurs in Partnership with Google

The Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria has launched the Student Venture Capital Grant (VCG) program, offering ₦50 million equity-free grants to student entrepreneurs in STEM fields. The initiative aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among Nigerian students, providing support through incubation programs, mentorship, and access to resources.

Google is partnering with the program to enhance technical skills and provide tools for startup development. The portal is now open for applications from eligible Nigerian students.
