Arbeloa Declines Mourinho's Coaching Role at Real Madrid

Álvaro Arbeloa announced during a press conference that he will not be part of José Mourinho's coaching staff at Real Madrid for the upcoming season. This confirmation comes after a challenging season for Real Madrid, which ended without any trophies.

Arbeloa, who has been with the club in various roles for 20 years, expressed his hope to return to Real Madrid in the future. He served as a coach at the youth level after his playing career, which spanned from 2009 to 2016.

The announcement was made ahead of Real Madrid's final La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao at the Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez had appointed Arbeloa to replace Xabi Alonso in January, but Arbeloa clarified that he would not work under Mourinho, who is expected to return to the club.
