ARISE Africa Summit Focuses on Real Estate Innovation

The inaugural Africa Real Estate Innovation Summit of Excellence (ARISE Africa) 2026 took place in Lagos, organized by the Billionaires Realtors Group (BRG) Network, marking its 10th anniversary. Dr. Emmanuel Abikoye, President of BRG, emphasized the importance of transforming lives through real estate beyond mere transactions.

Oba Akintoye Adeoye, President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), stressed that sustainable housing growth relies on building strong institutions rather than just constructing buildings. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by Commissioner for Housing Hon. Moruf Akinderu Fatai, reported the delivery of 10,000 new homes through government and public-private partnerships.

Dr. Niyi Adesanya, Board Chairman of BRG, called for the integration of technology and data in addressing housing deficits. QS David Mathu Njuguna from Kenya advocated for reduced reliance on foreign building materials.

Hon. Gbenga Adeleke, Co-founder of BRG, discussed challenges faced over the past decade, while Dr. Tony Aspire Kolawole, Chairman of REDAN Lagos Chapter, confirmed the summit's success in uniting industry leaders.
