Iran Awaits Trump Decision on Peace Proposal Amid Tensions

Iran is currently in a state of anticipation regarding a decision from U.S. President Donald Trump about a new peace offer.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), led by Mohsen Rezaei, has made a statement indicating that Tehran is prepared for military operations if negotiations do not yield favorable results. Rezaei mentioned the potential for creating a "graveyard" for American military vessels, emphasizing Iran's military capabilities.

Trump stated he has not yet reviewed the Iranian peace proposal but will do so soon. The Iranian government submitted a 14-point counterproposal to a nine-point proposal from the U.S., which includes demands such as the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iran's surroundings, lifting of naval blockades, and resolving issues within 30 days.
