Northern Leaders Meet to Address Worsening Security Crisis in Nigeria

Northern leaders and traditional rulers from 19 states in Nigeria convened in Kaduna to discuss solutions to the escalating security crisis affecting the region. Led by the Sultan of Sokoto, they assessed the socio-economic challenges and proposed sustainable solutions to combat insecurity.

The meeting aimed to address issues such as banditry, kidnapping, and terrorist activities that have plagued the Northern region. Recent incidents, including school abductions and attacks on churches, were highlighted as urgent concerns.
