Asake's Concert Film: First Live Album on Spotify

On June 21, 2023, 2x GRAMMY-nominated Afrobeats artist Asake performed a special one-night-only concert at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane, showcasing his chart-topping album. This marked his first live performance since the album's release in May 2023.

The event featured a live orchestra, a 40-person choir, and Asake performed hits from the album along with four unreleased songs. The concert has been transformed into a concert film, which is now exclusively available on Spotify, making it the first full-length live album performance film the platform has ever released.

Nearly 2,000 fans attended the invite-only event, which had a black-tie dress code. The film captures this landmark performance and is part of Spotify's exclusive live performance content.

To celebrate the release, Spotify hosted a premiere screening event at its Listening Lounge in central London.
