INEC Recognizes Wike-backed PDP Faction and Usman's LP During Political Parties Meeting

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) acknowledged the faction of the PDP led by Abdulrahman Moham, backed by Nyesom Wike, and the Labour Party (LP) led by Sen. Nenadi Usman during a meeting with political parties in Abuja.

This recognition followed a recent court judgment that favored Moham's faction over Tanimu Turaki's faction. Despite Turaki's appeal, INEC complied with the court order, inviting Wike's faction to the consultative meeting.

The meeting also included representatives from other parties like the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by David Mark and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
