INEC Meets Nyesom Wike's PDP Faction in Abuja Amid Legal Victory

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) met with Nyesom Wike's faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja. The meeting, part of INEC's quarterly consultations with political parties, featured Wike's faction prominently, with Abdulrahman Moham, acting National Chairman, and Samuel Anyanwu, acting National Secretary, in attendance.

Umar Batur, the National Organizing Secretary, was also present. The meeting comes after a significant legal development where a Federal High Court in Ibadan nullified a PDP national convention held on November 15, 2025.
