Bola Tinubu Advocates Stronger Economy and Inclusive Growth at NEC Conference

At the Nigerian Economic Council (NEC) Conference in Abuja, Bola Tinubu emphasized the need for concrete actions to enhance the economy and society's inclusivity. He stressed the importance of sustained reform efforts to improve citizens' daily lives through job creation, infrastructure development, and healthcare enhancements.

Tinubu called for deeper collaboration between the federal and state governments, private sector, and civil society to achieve sustainable national development. Recommendations from the conference included harmonizing tax laws, increasing investments in education and healthcare, and adopting non-kinetic approaches to address security challenges.

The conference also proposed amendments to enhance fiscal federalism and optimize oil and gas investments. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State highlighted the importance of implementing the resolutions for the benefit of all Nigerians.
