Shehu Sani: Obasanjo, Atiku Feud May Last Until Death

On Saturday, former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani remarked that the ongoing feud between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, is likely to continue until one of them dies. Sani described Atiku as having received Obasanjo's "hypersonic missiles" following a "devastating bomb" thrown by Atiku.

He noted that the feud began when the current Generation Z was in nursery and primary school and has persisted even as that generation has matured. Sani highlighted that Obasanjo recently reignited the conflict by stating that selecting Atiku as his running mate in 1999 was his biggest mistake.

In response, Atiku has criticized Obasanjo, reopening old political disagreements that have lasted for two decades.
