In a statement released on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku clarified that neither he nor his campaign solicited or authorized the payment. Atiku urged the public and security agencies to take note of this incident, which he views as part of a series of suspicious activities leading up to the 2027 general elections.
