Atiku Abubakar Meets Kwankwaso to Discuss ADC Progress

On Wednesday, Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, visited Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former Governor of Kano State, at his residence. This meeting marked their first official engagement since Kwankwaso's defection from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The discussions focused on the progress of the ADC and ensuring good governance. Meanwhile, the ADC has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is planning to destabilize opposition parties, with a public protest scheduled for April 2nd in Abuja.

This protest is organized by disgruntled members demanding accountability from the ADC's national chairman, David Mark. Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC's national publicity secretary, accused certain ministers of the APC of being behind this protest, calling on President Bola Tinubu to intervene and prevent any actions that could undermine the ADC following Kwankwaso's defection.
