Atiku Abubakar Welcomes Supreme Court Ruling on ADC

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, welcomed the Supreme Court's ruling concerning the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The apex court ruled on Thursday, vacating an order that directed the ADC to maintain the status quo ante bellum pending the determination of its leadership crisis.

The unanimous decision was made by a five-member panel and was held in Abuja. The court found that the lower court had acted beyond its jurisdiction by issuing an order in a case that had already been dismissed.
