Atiku Abubakar's ADC Campaign Council Welcomes New Leaders

Abdulfatah Ahmed has been appointed as Senior Campaign Adviser, and Abubakar Amuda-Kannike as Head of General Services under the Administration Directorate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 election. These appointments integrate the two prominent Kwara politicians into the national campaign structure supporting the presidential bid of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Ahmed served as Governor of Kwara State from 2011 to 2019 and has extensive experience in economic management and public administration. Amuda-Kannike has served in various capacities in Kwara State, including as a member of the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019.

His new role will involve overseeing the campaign’s administrative functions. The ADC's campaign structure includes notable figures such as Kashim Ibrahim-Imam as Chairman and Nasir El-Rufai as Deputy Chairman, coordinating activities across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory in preparation for the upcoming election.
