Atletico Madrid Competes with Fenerbahce for Ademola Lookman in €40m Deal

Atletico Madrid is making a strong push to secure the signing of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman from Fenerbahce. The Spanish club is in competition with the Turkish side, who are on the verge of completing a deal for Lookman.

Fenerbahce's deal for Lookman is reportedly in its final stages, with a package worth €40m on the table. Atletico Madrid has acknowledged Fenerbahce's bid, which currently exceeds their own.

The player has expressed interest in moving to Spain, and Fenerbahce's Sporting Director, Devin Ozek, is currently in Bergamo trying to finalize the deal. The potential transfer of Lookman to Atletico Madrid is contingent on the completion of business involving Goretzka and is expected to be resolved by February 2.
