AXA Mansard's Pre-Tax Profit Slumps 73% in H1 2025 Despite Revenue Growth

AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, a member of the global AXA Group, reported a significant decline of 73% in pre-tax profit for the first half of 2025. The company's insurance revenue saw a strong growth of 24%, reaching N15.81 billion.

Despite the profit decrease, AXA Mansard maintained solid top-line momentum. The insurance segments, including property casualty, life savings, and health, recorded varying profit performances.

The company attributed the profit decline mainly to the absence of substantial foreign exchange gains that boosted earnings in the previous year. The total assets of AXA Mansard increased by 21% to N234.02 billion.
