Baba Ijesha Placed on Lagos Sex Offenders List After Jail Term

Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha, real name Olanrewaju Omiyinka, has been added to the Lagos sex offenders list following his prison sentence for sexually assaulting a minor. Actor Yomi Fabiyi claimed Baba Ijesha was released after an appeal, but the Attorney General of Lagos State, Lawal Pedro, strongly denied this, emphasizing that Baba Ijesha completed his full prison term and was not acquitted.

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team warned against spreading false information about the case, stating that it could lead to criminal charges under state law.
