Baba Ijesha Reveals Prophecy Before Prison Release in 2026

Olanrewaju Omiyinka, known as Baba Ijesha, spoke about a prophecy he received prior to his incarceration during a birthday celebration for activist Sunday Igboho on October 10, 2026. He recounted that a prophet had foretold his rise to greatness, but only after enduring significant trials that would bring him to tears.

Baba Ijesha, who was imprisoned for over three years after being convicted of sexually assaulting the 14-year-old daughter of comedienne Princess, was released on November 15, 2025. Since his release, he has expressed a desire for a fresh start, announcing in June that he had married celebrity designer Luminee and welcomed a son named King Kagar.

He also acknowledged Sunday Igboho's support during his time in prison, noting that Igboho had sent him money and facilitated communication with prison officials while both were detained in different countries.
