Bagudu: Tinubu’s Administration Open to Ideas, Recommendations on Good Governance, Not Blame Game

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, emphasized that President Bola Tinubu's administration is focused on good governance through ideas and recommendations, not blame games. Bagudu highlighted the need for bold decisions to improve the country's economic state, citing the reduction of fuel subsidies and the projected GDP growth.

He stressed that Nigeria's unique democratic structure should not be compared to countries like Rwanda or Singapore. Founding Executive Director of the Centre LSD, Otive Igbuzor, called for transformational leadership to address Nigeria's challenges, emphasizing the importance of integrity, competence, and compassion.

The Centre LSD's initiative to provide free leadership training was praised by Ford Foundation Regional Director, Dr. Chichi Aniagolu.

Policymakers were urged to support inclusive growth and sustainable development.
