Bandits Issue 48-Hour Ultimatum for ₦200 Million Ransom in Kogi Church Kidnapping

Bandits in Kogi State abducted 14 worshippers, including Pastor Orlando and six children, from a church in Yagba West Local Government Area. The bandits demanded a ₦200 million ransom, later reduced from ₦500 million, with a 48-hour ultimatum.

The Nigerian Army conducted a rescue operation, saving six victims. Governor Usman Ododo condemned the attack and initiated a manhunt.

The situation remains critical as the deadline approaches for the remaining hostages.
